Parent Education

4Cs believes that parents are their children’s first teacher and the most important influence in their lives.  We want to support parents in understanding their child’s development and increasing knowledge around common topics such as potty training, positive discipline, and challenging behaviors.

Throughout the year, 4Cs offers a variety of workshops on child development topics.  Please visit our calendar frequently to view upcoming workshops.  We also strive to continuously meet the needs of parents and welcome feedback about topics that interest you.  If you have a topic you would like 4Cs to offer, please let us know via email,

We also provide workshops on Choosing Child Care.  If you are interested in having us present at your next group meeting or event, please contact our ECE Coordinator at (650) 517-1446.

In addition to 4Cs workshops, other agencies throughout the county provide a variety of parent education opportunities.  Below are links to some of these organizations.
