2018 Leadership Awards


Mary Elizabeth Griffin Children's Award, Karen Haas-Foletta will receive the Mary Elizabeth Griffin Children's Award from County Supervisor Dave Pine.

Mary Petsche Visionary Leadership Award, County Superintendent of Schools Anne Campbell will be presented with this award by Director of Early Learning Support Services with the San Mateo County Office of Education, Jean-Marie Houston.

Community Partnership Award, First 5 San Mateo County Executive Director Kitty Lopez will receive this award on behalf of First 5 San Mateo County from Silicon Valley Community Foundation Vice President and Director of the Center for Early Learning Avo Makdessian.


Leadership Event 6:30pm – 8:30pm, standard admission

VIP Reception 5:30pm – 6:30pm, includes a private beer tasting given by the in-house Master Brewer, a VIP tour of the Brewery (time permitting) and a special “grazing” menu of foods selected to complement the beer tasting.
